Iheanacho promises to work hard

MANCHESTER City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has realised the need for him to work hard next season despite admitting he has posted a great season with 13 goals in all competitions.
“It’s not bad this season but I’ve got to keep working hard. This is not going to be the best season ever, I’m just starting and there will be more good to come, I’ll just keep working hard and working on everything in training and in games and I’ll get there,” he told Sky Sports.
The 19-year-old Iheanacho who was also on the verge of extending his contract at the Etihad Stadium added that this season had been great for him and his team as he had been getting goals and helping his team as well.
“My record isn’t bad, this season has been great for me and for the team as well,” he added.
“I’ve been getting goals in the team and helping them.”
