Two Die In Lagos-Benin Expressway Accident

Two persons have been reported dead in an accident that occurred on the Lagos-Benin highway in southern Nigeria.                                                                                                                                The tragedy struck on Thursday when a truck loaded with petrol lost control and skidded to the median and crashed into some vehicles before exploding.
An eyewitness said that more than six cars were engulfed in the fire after the explosion.
The accident caused a huge gridlock along the Benin Expressway near Ofosu in Edo State.
For several hours, motorists were held up in the traffic which lasted for more than six hours.
