An accident in the early hours of Saturday morning involving a container driver and an hausa okada rider at volks bus stop along badagry express road ojo, Lagos, resulted in the hausa okada rider and his passenger loosing their lives at the spot which attracted the attention of other hausa okada riders who didn't hesitate to set the truck ablaze with the truck driver still inside, but luck smiled at the truck driver when the ojo police division squad arrived at the scene and rescued him from the truck .According to eye witnesses at the scene, the truck driver wasn't to blame for the accident, that the accident occured as a result of the reckless driving from the okada rider and also plying through one way.
meanwhile , the police alerted the fire service to put off the fire from the already burning truck but the truck has been severely damaged before the arrival of the fire service at the scene ,also present at the scene was Area E commander Festac town ACP Chris Afolabi and some soldiers from the ojo military cantonment who had come to calm the ugly situation at the scene because rumour started going around that the truck driver is a yoruba man, which might have resulted to a riot between yoruba and hausa. investigations are on going at the ojo police division
