Consistent reports have stated that the Gunners had all but sown up a deal that would take the Swiss international to the Emirates for some time. However, after the BBC reported yesterday that a deal had been agreed pending the formality of a medical, the images above finally put the ‘done deal’ stamp on the Xhaka saga.
It will be interesting to see how the 23-year-old handles the Premier League next season but, based on Wenger’s reaction when recently asked about the proposed deal, we should certainly be excited about the midfielder’s potential.
