Afro-pop singer, Humblesmith, has revealed in an interview
on Channels TV’s Sunrise “Artiste of the Week” segment that he wants to give
$2000 to his fans.

This is his way of appreciating them for their patronage,
using the Instagram competition tagged #JukweseContest.
The singer gave a brief idea about his good intentions for
the fans before he was interrupted by one of the show anchor.
He said, “I have a Jukwese Contest going on, and I want to
give $2000 to my fans”.
The ‘Osinachi’ crooner also touched on other such as hius
music and the business side of it.
He believes quality content is the key to capturing all
categories of listeners. This will create a good brand for him, and ensure that
he has a lasting image.
“When I came to Lagos, I discovered another side of music.
That music is business. You are not doing it for fun. You need to make a
living… make money from it.”
“If you really want your music to stay long, want people to
appreciate your brand and your personality, you need to be giving them a good
content, something that will last long”.
“Do something that parents, children, youths can connect
together. That’s the only thing that will keep your brand for long.”
The singer expressed satisfaction about his career

Reacting to a question concerning Bright Chimezie being his
mentor, the singer mentioned that he got a lot of inspiration from the singer,
whom he listens to till date.
“He inspired me a lot. Even till today, I still play his
record”, he stated.
Humblesmith, whose real names are Ekene Ijemba, is signed to
DG Records. He has done songs collaboration with top music acts like Phyno,
Flavour and Davido.
