3 arrested over forgery of Ugwuanyi’s letter head, signature

Police Authorities in Enugu State have arrested three suspects, Onuoha Gloria ,Onwuameze Roseline and Thomas Nwigwe,over their alleged involvement in conspiracy and forgery of Office of the Governor’s letter head and signature.

The trio were said to have established a cartel where unsuspecting job seekers pay huge sums of money for employment at Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, Parklane and University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, UNTH,Ituku-Ozala. It was gathered that the suspects had allegedly  issued series of letters purported to have emanated from the Office of the Governor and signed by the governor which they used in gaining employments at the hospitals. Police source revealed that several of such letters for employment were treated with urgent attention.
 According to Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Ebere Amaraizu, Superintendent of Police, ”the syndicate had given employment to some victims of Account grade 11 level 7,Higher Executive Officer HEO level 8 as well as Chief Typist, CONTISS 8,step 13, among others. “One Chijioke Nzegwu, is currently placed on manhunt for allegedly facilitating the illegal deal for Gloria and Roseline having received a huge sum of money from one of the suspects Thomas Nwigwe on their behalf. Suspects are now helping the police operatives in their investigations”.
