British singer and
songwriter Ed Sheeran has been sued for $20m by Martin Harrington and
Thomas Leonard, and their publishing company Halo Songs for allegedly copying
their 2009 song "Amazing to form his song "Photograph".

Busch, lawyers to Harrington
and Leonardo told NBC News, "My clients are professional songwriters.
Their work is their life and I am honored that they have trued me with this
very important case. We set out the facts in the lawsuit in great detail."
The plaintiffs have estimated
that the defendants (including Sheeran) have profited over $20 million, and
they are seeking statutory damages as well as either a running royalty or an
injunction.
