Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink on Friday confirmed that midfielder Eden
Hazard could make his return to the side that take on Bournemouth in
the Premier League on Saturday.
The
playmaker has been sidelined for six weeks with a hip injury but
Hiddink at his press conference on Friday revealed that the Belgian
could play some part when they face the Cherries.
"He'll travel, it's not for the whole game, I think," Hiddink said.
"He's available. He was training very alive and that's a good signal."
Hiddink
then added that captain John Terry will travel with the team to the
Vitality Stadium for the match but is not yet fit to play.
"I like
people to be with the team. John is very committed. He was annoyed
about his injury and desperately wants to be with the team," Hiddink
added.
Asked whether Terry who has not played for Chelsea
since March 19 due to Archilles and hamstring problems needs to play to
persuade incoming coach, Antonio Conte, to hand him a new contract,
Hiddink admits that could help the 35-year-old's situation.
"It might be important as well. But its not a stress situation for both," he said.
Chelsea are in 10th place with 44 points while Bournemouth are 13th with 41 points.
