I want to use this opportunity to commend Nigerians for their patience while awaiting presidential assent to the 2016 Appropriation Act, I urge the National Assembly to ensure the proper implementation through diligent oversight.

I also urge the executives, the Legislatures and the Judiciary to ensure that the objectives and goals of the budget are duly realized.
