WORLD CUP: PMB To Send Forth Eagles Today

President Muhammadu Buhari will this morning host Russia 2018 World Cup –bound Super Eagles at the Presidential Villa to a send-forth party before the Eagle’s departure to London for their crucial friendly match against England’s Three Lions at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaji Melvic Pinnick, disclosed while speaking to newsmen shortly after ‘Wealth Investment Seminar’ organized for the players and officials of the Super Eagles squad at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, yesterday. He said the president, as the father of the team is excited about their progression to the World Cup and would officially send the team forth before leaving for Russia. “President is a father to the team. He is excited about the team and he would official send them forth,” he said.
