An International Non-Governmental Organisation, (NGO) NALT Club International, has planned to alleviate poverty, promote social justice, cultural values, peace and unity among Nigerians especially in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as part of activities marking its yearly international convention.
In a statement in Abuja by NALT National President and Secretary, Dr. Felix Nweke and Cassidy Madueke, they described the incoming convention as a very important event in the life and history of the association.
The association is made up of professionals, academia and outstanding business men and women, drawn across the globe with aim of promoting social justice for all irrespective of race, nationality, status and religious affiliation as well as promotion of cultural values, peace and unity among racial diversity.
According to them: “we will also embark on health/fitness road work along Karu road, do visitation and donation of food items, and money to Karu orphanage home, carry out free Medicare on people as part of activities during the convention.
The convention, tagged: “Harris International Convention” will focus on the need to promote social justice, cultural values, peace and unity among Nigerians and black race generally as well as the need to lend a hand to the less privileged in the society.
The association seeks to reposition itsself and do the needful for the betterment of it’s members and the society in general and therefore, called their members, registered participants/delegates and invited guests across the globe to endeavour to participate meaningfully in the convention and use the opportunity to interact among themselves and chart a common course in line with global realities”.
